BASEBALL:

Mississinewa JV baseball defeated Blackford 8 to 5 on Tuesday night. Cade Campbell was 3 for 4 and pitched 5 solid innings to get the win. Malcolm O’Brien was 2 for 4 with a double and 2 RBI’s.

TENNIS:

On Tuesday, the Olemiss Tennis Team traveled to South Adams for an impromptu match. Mississinewa was scheduled to play Southwood but instead found themselves on the way to South Adams after their original opponents was forced to cancel to make up a conference match. After OLemiss won the first two singles positions and the stars won the two doubles matches, the deciding singles position moved into a third set. Maggie Herring captured the third set to give the Indians the team win. Mississinewa is now 11-3 overall. Olemiss will play at conference foe Frankton Wednesday.
