BOYS TENNIS:
On Monday, the Olemiss Tennis Team traveled to Alexandria to compete against the Tigers in a conference match. The Indians grabbed an early lead with quick wins at #3Singles, by Paxton Sample, and #1Singles, by Isaac Torres. After Alexandria captured the #1Doubles match and was winning the #2Doubles position, Conner Murphy was mounting a first set comeback that gave him tremendous momentum heading into the second set. Murphy secured the team’s important 3rd point to give the Indians the victory. Mississinewa is now 10-4 overall and 3-0 in the CIC. Olemiss will travel to Elwood on Wednesday for another conference matchup.

JR HIGH TENNIS:
RJ Baskett Middle School travel to Middletown Saturday to participate in the Shenandoah Middle School doubles round robin tournament. Participating in the tournament were host Shenandoah, Lapel and Eastern Hancock. RJ Baskett came away the winner over a competitive Lapel team. RJ Baskett tied with Lapel in their match 3-3, and then beat Eastern Hancock and Shenandoah 6-0,6-0 and won the match winning more overall matches over Lapel for the tournament. The Indians had three doubles teams that stayed undefeated in the competition #1D John Oliver and Hayden Rowely, #3D Ella Frantz and Maddie Fuqua and #6 Doubles Lexie Goins and Sophia Morrison.
Finishing 2 and 1 for the Indians were #2dou Ethan Sample and Riley Fuqua, #4D Evan Stanely and Micha Crisp and # 5 D Taylor Kern and Brayley Bushman. Indians play there next Tuesday evening at Eastern.
