BOYS SOCCER:
The Mississinewa Boys Soccer Team traveled to Peru High School to open up their season. They fought hard getting 27 shots off, 15 of those on goal, and collecting 13 corner kicks, but fell 2-1. The lone Indian goal was scored off of a beautiful header by Colin Yoder (Freshman), assisted by Sean Williams (Senior).
The boys next travel to Wabash on Thursday evening.

VOLLEYBALL:
Oak Hill Volleyball opened the season with a 5-set win over visiting Maconaquah. After a slow start in the first two sets, the Lady Eagles got organized and held off a scrappy Braves defense. Ashlyn Transier led the attack with 12 Kills; Rachel Arens had 18 assists; and Tori Templin led servers with 25 attempts. The Eagles visit Marion on Thursday.
