TRACK:
The Mississinewa girls track team defeated Muncie Burris while dropping the meet to Anderson Prep Academy. Mississinewa 60 – APA 61 – Burris 29. The girls track team won 8 of the 15 events led by double individual winners Carli Fones in the 100m(13.0), 200m (27.3) and Amanda Baldwin in the 1600m (6:27), 800m (2:52). Both of the girls won a third blue ribbon in victorious relays. Baldwin anchored the winning 4×800 relay (11:55) with Aurora Fisher, Morgan Humphrey, and Kayla Webb, while Fones anchored the 4×400 relay (4:48) with Webb, Humphrey, and Jaqueline Smith. Humphrey received a third blue ribbon by winning the 400m (1:14). Fisher won the 3200m (13:50).

The Mississinewa boys track team lost to APA and Burris. Mississinewa 35 – APA 69 – Burris 46. Individual winners for the boys were Kody Cowgill in the 100 (11.5) and Brennan Butche in the 3200m (9:52). Heisman Skeens had a pair of 2nd place finishes in the long jump (18’7”) and 200m (23.8); Butche and Cowgill also finished 2nd in the 1600m (4:51) and 400m (54.9), respectively. The 4×800 relay team consisting of Jacob Ehmer, Cory Quakenbush, Sam Robinson, and Johnathon Tucker was also 2nd (9:26).
