The Oak Hill Eagles advanced to sectional finals after defeating Northfield 58-39 on Friday evening at Manchester High School. Spencer Ballinger led the scoring with 19 points. Christian Livingston had 16 and Caleb Maggard scored 10 points and had five rebounds. Chandler Julius pulled down seven rebounds and Reese Metzger had five. Spencer Ballinger was 3 for 5 in the 3 point range. The Eagles had 12 turnovers. They now take on Southwood in the finals on Saturday evening.
Northfield’s Noah Shear scored 16 and Kyle Reed had 8 points. They had 16 turnovers.
The Mississinewa Indians beat Heritage 69-56 to advance to the finals against Columbia City. Jerod May led the scoring with 31 points, 26 of which were in the first half. Nolan Young had 14 points. Thabit Gault and Ben Heineman each had 8 points.
Eastbrook was defeated by Taylor 49-36 at Elwood High School.
