The Indians defeated Bluffton 47-45 in close game on Saturday evening. Nolan Young led with 12 and Jerod May scored 11 points. Thabit Gault had 7 and David Bounds scored 5 points. Connor Oke and Nolan Young hit two 3’s in the fourth quarter to tie the game and Ben Heineman tipped in the game winning shot.Bluffton had two shots but missed them both. The Indians have improved to 12-9 on the season. Their last game is Thursday at New Castle.
The Mississinewa JV team defeated Bluffton by a score of 53 to 36 moving there record to 11-9. Leading scorer for the Indians was Elijah Bounds with 12 points.
