Oak Hill 12U Falls 12-3 To Ole Miss despite Reagan Fairchild’s effort in the Town and Country All Star Tournament championship on Sunday.
Oak Hill 12U collected four hits, but Oak Hill 12U fell 12-3 to Ole Miss.
Reagan Fairchild racked up two RBIs on one hit for Oak Hill 12U. He homered in the first inning.
Williams got the win for Ole Miss. He allowed three runs over 5 2/3 innings. Williams struck out six, walked one and gave up four hits.
Home runs for Ole Miss came when Williams homered in the second inning, Rock homered in the third inning, and Swanner homered in the fifth inning.
Ole Miss’ Rock, Swanner and Williams combined for four hits and 11 RBIs.
Tyler Rennaker took the loss for Oak Hill 12U. He allowed six runs in 1 1/3 innings, walked three and struck out one.
The top of the first saw Oak Hill 12U take an early lead, 3-0. Owen Brookshire doubled to ignite Oak Hill 12U’s offense. An error then moved Brookshire from second to third. The scoreboard lit up again for Oak Hill 12U when Rennaker scored on a two-run home run by Reagan Fairchild.
It didn’t take long for Ole Miss to respond as it scored three runs of its own in the first. Ole Miss scored on a two-run double by Swanner and a fielder’s choice.
The lead stayed with Ole Miss after the second, when it scored three runs on a three-run home run by Williams.
Ole Miss got three-run rallies in the third inning and the fifth. In the third, Ole Miss scored on a three-run home run by Rock, plating Crick and E Yanze.
