Oak Hill 12U defeats Marion in semifinals

Oak Hill 12U Top Marion Behind Reagan Fairchild’s 3 Hits, 10-0 in the semifinals of the Town & Country Tournament on Sunday afternoon.
A superb effort by Reagan Fairchild hoisted Oak Hill 12U to a 10-0 win in four innings over Marion on Sunday at Field two.
Fairchild hit two home runs for Oak Hill 12U. He went 3-3 in the game with four RBIs and three runs scored and homered in the first and fourth innings.
Six runs in the opening three innings allowed Oak Hill 12U to easily put away Marion. An RBI single by Keegan Deaton and a solo home run by Reagan Fairchild during the first inning and a two-run home run by Sam Stefanatos in the second inning helped Oak Hill 12U put some runs on the board early.
Oak Hill 12U hit three home runs in the win. Additional home runs for Oak Hill 12U came when Fairchild homered in the first and fourth innings.
Keegan Deaton recorded the win for Oak Hill 12U. He pitched two shutout innings. He struck out three, walked one and surrendered one hit.
Stephen Simmons ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. He lasted just two innings, walked none, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
Oak Hill 12U piled on two more runs in the bottom of the third. A ground out scored Keegan Deaton to get Oak Hill 12U on the board in the inning. That was followed up by Jaylen William’s single, bringing home Fairchild.
Oak Hill 12U increased its lead with four runs in the fourth. Deaton kicked things off with a single, scoring Owen Brookshire. That was followed up by Reagan Fairchild’s three-run home run, bringing home Tyler Rennaker and Keegan Deaton.
