County schools held a football jamboree for freshmen teams Saturday, with Mississinewa, Eastbrook, Oak Hill and Madison-Grant participating in a total of four sessions at Mississinewa High School.
In the first session, Eastbrook got touchdowns by Xaine Kirby and Justin Singer and shut out the Mississinewa Indians, 12-0.
Oak Hill got on the board in the second session–Nate Alston did the scoring–to shut out Madison Grant, 6-0.
Eastbrook continued to roll in the third session, shutting out Oak Hill 16-0.
In the final session, neither Madison-Grant nor Mississinewa were able to get into the end zone; the day ended with a scoreless tie.
